Nestled in the rolling hills of the Allegheny Mountains in Berks County, Pennsylvania sits Pine Forge Academy, a haven for inner-city African-American girls and boys in quest of a Christian education and training. The 2004/05 school term represents the 59th continuous year of operation for Pine Forge Academy, one of only four surviving historically Black boarding high schools in North America. Its Christ-centered curriculum and development program is designed to train the mind, body, hand and spirit of each student for global leadership and service to man and God.
The Administration, faculty and staff are dedicated and nurturing professionals whose barometer for success is unequivocal excellence. Students enter the hallowed halls as children and leave with self, class, school and community pride. The students privileged to matriculate through Pine Forge Academy leave with an education, life skills and confidence that propels them in their careers and destines them to global leadership.
