Our 21st Century Vision for PFA
The Pine Forge Academy Foundation, Inc. has adopted two Vision Statements and a set of seven (7) accompanying strategic goals, which are closely aligned with the strategic priorities of the Pine Forge Academy Board of Trustees and school administration. The plan provides a strategic plan that maps out a future state of operational excellence, financial stability and academic performance. The plan provides a thoughtful process to launch a major capital campaign for the Academy. The strategic plan resulted in two (2) Vision Statements, to be accomplished by year 2010 and seven (7) strategic goals, which are essential to achieving the 2010 Vision for the Pine Forge Academy. It all started with a future desired state - "… It is the year 2010, the President of the United States has accepted an invitation to visit Pine Forge Academy to bestow national recognition to the school because"… PFA has successfully completed the following two vision statements… Vision Statement #1: Beginning in 2010, Pine Forge Academy will successfully graduate 100 students, all of whom will receive full four-year funding for post-secondary education, because we will achieve the following four (4) goals: Goal #1: Build a strong leadership and an effective governance Action Team structure by September 2006 Goal #2: Develop a model competitive curriculum by September 2006 Goal #3: Expand and improve the physical plant by September 2005 Goal #4: Increase student enrollment by at least 100% over the 2003-2004 student enrollment size to reach at least 370 students by September 2009 Vision Statementl #2: Beginning in 2010, Pine Forge Academy will successfully graduate students who exhibit Christ-centered values, are prepared to be successful participants in the 21st century workplace and are effective leaders in the global community, because we will achieve the following three (3) goals: Goal #1: Develop a nationally recognized mentoring program by September 2005. Goal #2: Strengthen the academic curriculum to integrate faith and learning by September 2006. Goal #3: Implement an effective community-service learning program by September 2007.
